Software company says: "Hi you're an honest customer, and have just bought our product. We are nieve enough to think that forcing you to shell out another $50 for copyright protection you shouldn't need (because you already paid for the item), is going to stop others from breaking the encryption." This is a scam, I purchased the required Ilok just over one year ago, and already it is on the fritz. What this means, is that I will have to PAY to send it to the ilok company so they can send me back another one. So, basically, I am paying for something I already purchased(the software), plus paying for the ILOK, plus paying to ship it back. Worst of all, anything you have used the ILOK for, is now unusable until you get the new one back. Oh, did I mention, If your Ilok is out of warranty, then you will have to PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE. My advice is don't use products that require an ILOK.
