Bezel not touch-sensitive!!!
I feel lied to. With the current firmware, the Galaxy Watch 4's bezel is absolutely not touch-sensitive. Unless you brush up against the actual screen area with your finger, it does nothing. This is a big step back from the Galaxy Watch Active 2, a watch that I liked. I'm very likely going to return this watch due to this completely absent feature, unless Samsung addresses it very quickly. For me, this is a dealbreaker. Unless fixed, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is a much better bet for most consumers. I've included a quick video to demonstrate the lack of a touch-sensitive bezel. In addition to this huge omission, Samsung has failed to clearly promise that Google Assistant is coming to the Galaxy Watch 4 series. If that feature doesn't come, that will be a dealbreaker for many others. Lastly, all of the Galaxy Watch 4 color variants (even the silver ones) have a painted body that appears to be susceptible to chipping around the glass. A big reason I got the silver color is so that it is plain aluminum that doesn't have a coating that can chip off. So much for that. Most of these will be probably be chipped up very quickly since the screen is completely flat with the painted rim being very likely to be bumped onto things accidentally. A screen cover will not protect you from this. Edit: I see someone created a review explicitly to counter my claim about the bezel. Well, my video demonstration doesn't lie. The black bezel is not touch-sensitive, and it makes the experience unreliable unless you adapt to it. I had this watch side-by-side with my Active 2, and the Active 2 hands down had a more reliable bezel.
