Wow...all these glowing reviews...did these people actually get this book or are they just friends and family of the authors? I received this book this afternoon and I'm greatly disappointed. What I thought would be a great time-saving cookbook filled with meaningful "gotta make this" recipes appears to be a great time-consuming cookbook with mundane recipes instead. Most of the recipes in this book are simple ones that can be made much faster by NOT making them in an Instant Pot. Anyone can make hummus, or quick-cooking oatmeal, or carrot hot dogs, or dahl in just a few minutes without firing up the IP (seriously, who makes hummus using dried garbanzo beans?). Also, many of the recipes here are for snack foods, side dishes, or accompaniments: cowboy caviar, rice (three recipes), hummus, marinara sauce, sriracha, and gravy. I wouldn't have minded that there are only 30 recipes had they been good ones. Waste of time and money...it's getting returned. As for the language, that didn't bother me, although it's obviously a juvenile attempt at trying to be cool. Thug Kitchen, you are not.
