Interesting concept but the gameplay is downright boring. Poor physics and lots of glitches ruin what could have been fun.
The premise is simple. This is yet another get object X to point Y in the least amount of time possible game. This time it involves a tractor, a rock (gold) and a truck.
Honestly it seems like somebody's rushed Java assignment than an actual game. Using your tractor (yes, the game spells tractor as traktor, go figure) you need to move a tiny stone into the back of a truck. There are usually objects in the way that also need to be moved. That's it. That's the WHOLE game!
The tractor controls are overly sensitive and it moves as well as animates poorly. You can literally drive on air...
After the first twelve missions I was utterly bored. Honestly it is just repeating the same thing over and over, with very little variation. To make matters worse, there is no actual digging involved - you just clear rubble away from your chunk of gold and move that gold rock to the truck. If that sounds interesting, by all means go ahead and try it out.
The only good thing I can say about Traktor Digger is its lack of dangerous permissions. Other than that, it's a stinker and should be passed on. Too bad, since the concept is good, and if the developers actually tried - it could have been interesting. As it is, I don't recommend that you buy this game. Go ahead and download it as today's free app of the day, but prepare to be bored...
