I thought when purchasing a "Rain Jacket" that I would be able to walk in the rain for a decent amount of time without getting soaked to the bone. I was wrong. I have worn this jacket a fair amount in light rain (and couldn't tell if my elbows and shoulders were just cold or wet), but after this morning I am certain this coat is no match for Seattle weather. After standing in the rain for 10 minutes, the elbows of my shirt had been soaked through, moisture held in by the impermeable material ensured they stayed wet for the rest of my commute. After walking from my bus to my office (another 10 minutes) the water runoff from the jacket guaranteed I had two huge wet spots on my thighs. After taking off the jacket, I found both shoulders wet, and elbows still wet. I am very disappointed in this product.
