I wasn't able to install this until recently, so it is past the return window. Initially it worked great. It is very quiet and works exactly as it should. But it only worked for 2 weeks before it started leaking! Nothing that isn't supposed to go into the drain was put down there but it started to back up. I tried the disposal and it would just spin the water in the sink. Then one morning I woke up to a flooded kitchen. I hired a plumber and he advised that it needs to be replaced. I am very unhappy with this product. UPDATE 04/24/2018 I replaced the original unit under the warranty. To Waste King's credit, the warranty was honored and the process was relatively simple to complete. BUT the new disposal is a big wet turd just like the first one! It leaks, backs up and does not work as it should. I am going to buy a different brand and replace this piece of junk. It is a complete waste of money and hassle. I would also like to add that I DO NOT put anything big down the drain. No egg shells, oils, potato skin, vegetables, food chunks, nothing! I have tried to be as delicate as possible with this thing and it still gives me issues.
