The product photo is completely misleading as it shows the dress fitting at the waist with a wide band that purports to be a sewn-in "belt" feature. BUT IT IS AT BEST AN EMPIRE WAIST DRESS, with the band just under the breasts. Yet the length is just at the knee, so either this piece was a sewing mistake or the description and photo are just wrong (no model could be that short waisted!) BTW, the side pockets even start way above the natural waist. I didn't bother returning it as it was so inexpensive and it looks fine as an empire waist dress. I just would not have ordered it had I known this detail. I am 5'9" and some of these summer dresses from China are a little short waisted (so I use a belt to draw down the waist a bit) but this one was 5 inches above the natural waist!
