Even though this is apparently "JBL" brand, this is not the same speaker as another almost identical but MUCH better-sounding speaker I also bought from Amazon for $60. The green speaker in the picture is the better sounding speaker, and the black speaker is the one on this listing. You can see the green speaker has a FCC ID, etc. whereas the black one doesn't. You can really hear the difference between these speakers - the green speaker is loud, has full bass, sounds amazing (on both bluetooth and plugged in). The black one (this listing) can't go as loud, and if you turn it up too much there is a *lot* of distortion. It still works as a speaker and the bluetooth is operational, but make sure you know that this is not the same as a "real" JBL speaker! Definitely way worse sound quality. I wish I would have spent the extra few dollars for the real JBL speaker if I had known this one would be so much worse.
