This seat just felt flimsier than others we've purchased (mostly Britax and Graco). Sure enough, after two weeks of use, a plastic piece near the harness tightening strap broke off as I was securing my child in the seat. He's a small five-year-old, so I liked the idea of a harness that could grow into a booster seat as he got a little bigger. This is going back, and I will be purchasing another brand to replace it. If pieces break just from tightening the belt, I shudder to think how this might hold up in the event of an actual crash.
