It's cute but worldview is very important
The book is five stars till they mention that someone's son went to jail and that could possibly happen to her big brother if he does not start to behave. No ma'am. I do not want my daughter's head filled with jail as consequence for misbehavior. I want her to think of restitution and other methods. Then there's the fact that this is a divorced family. Not bad but give me nuclear too. It's important that our brown babies see their family structures reflected in books and some black families have a mom and a dad that see them everyday.
