No knife blade=no point, really regret selling my Cricut Explore!
I sold my Cricut Explore and bought this, ordered and got it even before it was available on amazon because of the promise to cut wood. First blade was said to be released end of October, then end of November, then end of 2017, and now early 2018! I lost money selling Explore to spend two hundred more on this and no benefit for me.
The machine does work, but save yourself 50% or more with Cricut Explore, because it can do 90% f what this can without the cutter blade. If you want the features promised, you won't get all of therm without a part that doesn't exist yet, at least not for customers to actually purchase. Between this and not being able to use the machine without being connected to the Internet (to upsell you on generic stock art), I'm really hating this company. CraftRobo created a similar machine and it functioned as a plug-in through Adobe Illustrator so it could be used at locations where wifi wasn't available, so obviously it can be done.
Another thing is, the print then cut feature is sadly lacking with 8.5x11" size limit, which I learned the hard way when I tried to use it on a project to fit on my 12x24" Cricut mat.
