S8 ruined the series for me. Rushed writing, plotholes, several key characters acting completely out of character - it's like a 4 year old with crayons was allowed to put final touches on Mona Lisa. Lazy writing full of plotholes, teleporting charters - a rushed mess. Writers even lifted a complete final scene of Pompeii - lines, postures, and rocks - for the final Jamie & Cersei scene. Very unfortunate end to something that started so well. The actors brought it, CGI people brought it - they just had to work with a rushed and poorly conceived script.
