I was eager to make some margaritas, so as soon as I received this I cleaned it out according to the directions. However it was obvious that there were large to medium metal shards in the ice even after washing the device out multiple times. I let the ice melt and there was about half an inch of metal shards at the bottom of the glass. I contacted the seller in regards to perhaps trading out my unit for another, however I have received no response and this piece of junk is sitting on my counter where it shall stay unused. PLEASE check for metal shards in your glasses!!
