It melts and catches fire
It worked great for about a month and then I noticed it had a bubbled up melted spot. I thought it would be fine until it caught fire.....I would not recommend this. If I had not been standing next to the stove, it could have turned into a much bigger problem if the on fire rubber melted in between the stove and lit fire to the wood cabinet.
