First of all I purchased a brand new one, and I got a WHITE PLAIN Box with pieces in ziplock bags which really ticked me off; second of all, there were pieces missing; thirdly, I did try to go ahead and use it regardless and it didn't even hardly work as the stream was so thin and slow, that it took 10 minutes to fill a coffee pot of water. FYI: BRITA IS WORSE
