After a month of taking these, I couldn't figure out why my 50 mg tablets (brand: Solgar) seemed to be WAY more effective than these 100mg capsules... turns out this form of B6(P5P) is supposed to be ENTERIC COATED because otherwise the majority of the dose is destroyed in the stomach before it has a chance to be transported to the blood stream (the Solgar tablets are enteric coated). This also helped answer why I was getting an upset stomach, and heartburn, with regular frequency... I'm always amazed and tragically disappointed that health companies like LifeExtension who purport to have your best interests at heart sell supplements in unabsorbable forms - it's tantamount to fraud. But alas, greed seems to rule the day, ethics be damned. My rating is not 1 star - it is 0 stars - even if the Amazon rating system won't allow me to give a 0 star rating.
