There are many problems associated with this game. I just want to make my review informative, so I would describe this app as honestly as possible. The first thing is that Gameloft doesn't listen to our reviews. What is the significance of these if improvements aren't made in the game by Gameloft. Obviously they (surely) don't read them due to which they are not able to know about the problems present in Asphalt 8. Second thing is that the game gradually becomes immensely competitive for average people who just don't want to spend real money on an app like this. They play the game for entertainment, but after they reach season 4, they find out that it is very difficult to win a race without spending heavy amounts on expensive upgrades, or buying a very expensive car for a specific class. Vehicles that aren't much costly in any class don't perform very well and are not challenging for the computers' AI players. From season four, u would surely feel the need to buy credits or tokens from real money, which is frustrating and impossible for some people who do not have credit cards, and for children/teenagers who cannot buy stuff online. All that combined; you cannot progress further without upgrading your car to an extreme level, or till the recommended rating for each event. Buying a new high-performance car is too much costly and at the end, would leave you with just three options if you are not able to progress any longer. 1) Either buy stuff from real money, 2) Replay events continuously until you get the required amount of credits, 3) delete the game or delete the cloud save. This is one heck of a problem as the individual events do not provide you enough credits to last much longer, and put up a competition to your opponents. Replaying levels gives you a reduced amount of credits. Vehicles and upgrades are too much expensive due to which you have to act to anyone of the three options. Requests to Gameloft are of no use. Other problems are that there is no customer support for people wanting guidance. Purchases are sometimes not replied to, and we lose our money at that instance. After downloading the game, it again starts downloading after some successful downloads. Game crashes itself many times, especially when events are being loaded. Sometimes, It also tends to become slower and slower until a time comes when the game freezes and crashes. Multiplayer is not much fun due to no variety in event types and locations. A single event uses up to three FUEL, and it takes much time to fill up. You also do not gain much money from Multiplayer. Every vehicle cannot be used in Multiplayer mode. YOU would mostly need a class A or Class S car. Due to this, online is not enjoyable, especially for rookies who do not own high tiered cars. The game also seems to have difficulty in finding opponents for playing against you, so all this process becomes very slow too. Problems are also linked to different event types, such as Infected mode, but discussing them would take a lot of time. Another thing is that, in game, you seem to have opponents with infinite nitro, and many of them are able to catch-up from behind you, very easily, even if you have activated Perfect nitro to stay in the lead. Brakes do not work effectively, making you wreck often. Also, braking a vehicle instantly takes it into drifting, when we do not want it to drift. There are minor glitches in the game present, which adds up to players' frustration. Lastly, the game itself lags too much, and has stutters. All these are the major problems present in the game, and there are many other minor issues too. I also don't realize why this game takes such a huge amount of storage space (upto 1.6 GB), when it doesn't have extreme graphics or huge locations. And I have written this review after reading reviews of other people who rated the the game with either 1 or 5 stars. Besides that, I own this app and many other apps too. My experience and knowledge is here expressed in my words. Those of you who want to know that if I am experienced or not, to them I tell that I am just a 15 year old teen who has been with video games for the last 7 years. I have much knowledge about games, and am familiarized with their structure and their gameplay. I have gained knowledge of many of these games through different sources, and my own experience with them.
