I really liked these - I had two - for the first couple of months. Then one started sparking whenever I tried to plug it into a wall socket. I was so freaked out I stopped using that wall socket entirely, but a few days later I tried using the charger again, in another socket - and that one sparked too. I checked the other, identical Anker charger in both outlets - no spark. A week or so later the SECOND charger started sparking! I have an original Apple charger, one I've owned for years, and it does not visibly spark when I plus it in. I threw out the Anker chargers and am just using the original Apple charger now.
