We purchased a new windows 10 computer and needed a compatible printer. The information provided on the printer did not state, as far as we could find, whether it was compatible or not. We decided that must be because all printers should now be compatible with windows 10 so it was not specified. Big mistake! We are not tech savvy so for days we struggled with the attempt to use the printer. We finally saw in a very tiny print "read me" where it listed what computers the printer was compatible with and windows 10 was not one of them. The printer was promptly returned. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE WINDOWS 10!
