I ordered one of these for my mother in law. The first one had rough paint on it and would not close properly. I sent it back (Thank you Amazon for making the process so easy). The second one we ordered and practiced with my mother in law (who the safe was for) several times. The latch was difficult for her to open and shut, but she finally figured it out. However, after about 15 attempts, the safe would no longer open.
