Do you like spending 10 whole minutes on just ONE nail? Then buy this. I really, really can’t understand how this thing has as many stars as it does. My whole purpose for purchasing this is because my dogs all hate their nails being trimmed. This was supposed to make the process quick, easy, and painless. It is none of the above. This thing has no power to it, so unless you’ve got a 10 pound or less dog with tiny nails, you’re going to spend about 30 minutes— maybe longer— on one paw... no exaggeration. Which is a complete nightmare when your dog hates the whole process. It just does not grind the nail, and it lacks so much power that if I even slightly press my dogs nail against it to try and grind faster, it stops the motor. It’s not painless because instead of grinding, it more like catches on the nails and pulls at them. Extremely frustrating.
