I did careful research of this product. Really I did. This was supposed to be fine for making homemade vanilla extract but after soaking and tending my extracts carefully for months, when it was time for the reveal, this vanilla hadn't even changed the vodka soaked beans a different color, despite being slit completely open, doubled up, and the extracts shaken every other day for months. It was a waste of time and money and effort. Now I can only hope that a future purchase of a higher end vanilla can save what this one set to ruin. Will not buy this again. Would not recommend anyone else buying it for anything other than possible soap or candle making. I don't like giving low star reviews but I don't like spending good money on inferior products either.
