Got this as gift for Christmas and just had a reason to use it for the first time. Clicks so loud it sounds as if it it coming apart in the front top of the machine. I'm passed my return period which really stinks because it would have gone back in a second if we had used it right off. It only does it under a load. We made frosting which is low load so I'm terrified what it would do if we tried to make bread dough... A year later.. I still have massive buyers remorse. Compared to my 6 qt mixer this makes only a touch more dough or whatever you are making. The bowl just has higher sides and little to no more surface area than the 6 qt blades. You try to make a larger batch and it rides up the blade and makes a mess... So if you are looking for a higher capacity than your existing kitchen aid I recommend looking elsewhere.. We have gone back to our 6 qt and this has become a paperweight in our house... hoping to resell it this as it it does nothing more than our 6qt could do and is a very noisy.. Update 4/6/18... It's getting louder. Did some cookie dough and I thought it was going to come apart....
