The table is a good size and if it had some sort of support for the center, would be worth purchasing. I have two of these to create an L shaped work space for research and writing. Unfortunately the top is thin and without any kind of support so that over time - a short time - the items on the surface kind of start sliding to the center. I purchased another one for Christmas to use against a long wall for decorations with a tablecloth and I made sure to put the heavier items toward the outside, lighter near the center. Unfortunately this strategy did not help. There is nothing you can do other than live with it. If they creates some sort of bar that went along the bottom of the tabletop to keep it from dipping, it would be a very nice table for the price. I will not purchase again. I would rather spend a little more on a table I know won't do this.
