Even the smallest roll of paper towels will not fit on it .
While this is a beautiful piece of art it will not hold a roll of paper towels ! The picture says it all . That is a average paper towel roll. Not mega size that most people buy these days . I bought it as a gift for my daughter and it is very beautiful but impractical if you have to give it as a gift with only a half a roll of paper towels. They need to adjust the base size to fit reality. If you just want to look at it and not use it then it would be nice . If you actually want to use it forget it . I was very disappointed with how little thought they put into design. I was going to buy matching items but believe I will pass.
