Used one of the three cables for 6 months. Almost caught fire today. Son and wife saw it smoking while charging an iPad. Luckily they were home to see. It was burning to the touch they said and they unplugged it immediately. Will be throwing out the other two cables. Be careful using these. I called Amazon support and they did not care that it smoked or melted at all. They literally told me that this is normal behavior for cables for that amount of lifetime. Ridiculous! Amazon was able to credit me back though but not refund. They had no concern about the fire hazard of this product which is the frustrating part. Buyer beware.
