Mattress did not expand properly/replacement lost in transit
I was skeptical about ordering a mattress online as there were many complaints on Amazon of people receiving mattresses which did not expand to the proper depth. I decided to try it based on research leading me to believe that this mattress was one of the better options on the market despite these shortcomings, but I received a defective mattress. My mattress shows that it was made in April of 2018, but it seemed pretty obvious early on that it was not going to expand correctly. The foot of the bed was considerably more compressed than the rest, which still has not remedied itself. After 72 hours, the mattress is still less than 8 inches deep. According to Nectar's website, they assert that it could take 24-72 hours to fully expand (which is much longer than every other website suggests it should take a mattress to expand fully). I am in the process of trying to get a replacement for this as I type this. I want to like the bed, and honestly it seems like it will be comfortable if I get one which expands the way it is supposed to. For now, it is only 1 out of 5 stars from me.
Update: I received a refund from Amazon and decided to order the 2nd mattress. Delivery date came and went. Amazon says the 2nd mattress was lost in transit from the seller to the carrier. This isn’t Amazon’s fault, but this is pretty ridiculous.
