I have ordered and used the Pivotrim Maxpower in the past and it has lasted for at least a season and a half. However, I purchased a replacemen on 10 April 2019 and yesterday, 20 May 2019, the side of one of the plastic "eyes' that holds the line broke (just as it had one the previous head only after 5 uses as opposed to many uses). I like the price and the relative ease of installation - but if the durability isn't a fluke (and I have ordered two more) then I will have to find an alternative head. Suffice it to say I am disappointed - but again, hoping it was just a quality control anomaly. UPDATE: I received my new Pivotrim (I had ordered two). New Pivotrim only lasted two outing before one of the pivot posts that holds the line failed - the side blew out just like the first one. The plastic is simply too thin/weak to sustain normal use. Accordingly, I have returned both broken Pivotrim heads as well as the unopened one. Happy to report that Amazon is returning my money on two of the three. The first one broke right after the ability to return it had past and so there was no offer to return the purchase price (fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me). So, bummed that I have had to mess with this - maybe I can save others the trouble. BOTTOMLINE: Find another option.
