Don't waste your money. I purchased the amplified antenna because we're about 35 miles from our local channels and CBS and DirecTV are fighting so we don't get CBS on satellite for now. With this antenna we don't get any channel - just tells us the signal is not strong enough?! I have the antenna sitting in a window as suggested in the instructions, the amplifier is plugged in and lit up... I would have done better with the old style rabbit ears from the 70s.
