DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS NOW if you watch via HBO Apps.
Access to the HBO Now app on iPhone and Apple TV has been force replaced by HBO Max on both platforms and you CANNOT access this service if you subscribe through the Amazon Channels now. This is apparently due to a contractual disagreement with Amazon and HBO.
As of today (May 29th) there is no fix and you will be locked out of using the service through either of these portals. You will also not be able to use the HBOMax website either.
You can still access content through the Amazon website Prime Video section and you can access content through the Prime video app on both platforms.
If you had a watchlist in the old Now app that is gone and cannot be recovered. All your watch history through the app is also gone.
