I've been a huge fan of WD for a long, long time. I still think their hard disks are the brand you need to depend on. HOWEVER. This is my first foray into NVME from WD. I usually go with Samsung, and have also tried Crucial, Corsair, and even Sabrent. Yes, the title says it all. After only four months, the drive is dead - cannot be written to, and anything on it, is write protected. I ran the WD software, and it said to submit it for repair. I went to the website, and couldn't get an RMA. I submitted a ticket, and have replied repeatedly to it, and they haven't even responded! This is unbelievable. I ended up having to buy a Samsung just so I could get up and running. Think about it - over TWO WEEKS, and Western Digital hasn't even responded to a trouble ticket yet.
