I have consumed Vega product for years because I believed it was made of top quality pure ingredients and because of the sterling reputation of the company. I just read LabDoor's and Consumer Reports heavy metal testing of Vega's shakes and was shocked to read Vega's shake product failed the heavy metals test and are not recommended due to unacceptable amounts of Lead and Cadmium. Shame on Vega for selling products containing unacceptable levels of heavy metals.... there are pregnant women and breast feeding women consuming this product.
