This melted in my car overnight the other day on the micro side. Used it as an additional phone charger plugged into Verizon's USB Car Charger. Worked fine on the way home from dinner, woke up the next day and half of the plastic by the micro plug was melted, which also burnt a hole though my weather mat (luckily for me I did not have the carpet ones anymore or there could have been major damage to my vehicle and possibly house if it caught fire). I have only had this for 2 months, will be sticking to other brands. Other than burning up, it was a solid connection which felt better/more sturdy than even the Samsung USB that came with my phone, shame.
