***UPDATE*** DO NOT BUY THIS SCOOTER There are two MAJOR defects which will eventually cause the steering pole to fall off during use and cause serious injury. The first issue is that the front latch will eventually break after 500 or so miles of use. The second issue is that a pin that secures the steering pole will push it's way out and eventually just fall out. See picture attached. They have a recall, but my model was manufactured before the supposed "bad batch" and their support team is taking forever to respond to pictures. ***original review below*** These scooters are fast, easy to use, and look cool. However, there are major design flaws that will prematurely damage the device and put your safety in danger. Use the list below as a definitive list of things you need to buy in order to not kill yourself and keep the device in good use 1 - A rubber spacer where the scooter folds because when it's upright there is a gap which causes the handlebar stick to wobble. 2 - Another rubber spacer that goes beneath the back fender which is below the back tail light. The wire that connects the battery to the back taillight gets worn down ***stealth update*** this next sentence is not true, you are not supposed to use the back fender as a brake, however you still will break the back light*** because when you USE THE BACK FENDER AS A BRAKE WHICH IS PART OF THE SCOOTERS DESIGN AND EXPECTED USE you wear down a wire. I found the two pieces above on eBay when I searched for Rubber Scooter Vibration Damper and Accessories. 3 - Tire slime - the tires (which have tubes like bike tires) can leak easily 4 - A replacement front latch - this is a big deal as the front latch that keeps the vertical front bar upright can snap off which is really dangerous. This is actually not acceptable and the fact that I have to buy a higher quality replacement for this is lame and I wish there was a way to ask for a partial refund Also, and this is an update because I never bothered complaining about it originally - the power button was crooked - out of the box!!!
