I had bought the 12 month Live Gold membership but just because I had Ultimate active for one more day, it automatically converted it to 4 months of Ultimate, which is too pricey and useless for me. I didn't get a warning or anything. I contacted Microsoft customer service and they did nothing, not even giving me a refund because technically I did not buy Ultimate. I get that it says no refunds but that should be if they actually give you what you bought. Upon entering the code, there was no warning that it would automatically be Ultimate. $60 bucks almost gone to the trash. They should really fix this. Edit: Amazon customer service was very helpful in giving me a refund. If this happens to you, you should contact them to see if they could help.
