I bought this mattress due to the reviews and Casper's claims that this product did not heat up like typical foam mattresses. I followed the advice of the manufacturer, using specific thread count sheets and the Casper designed mattress cover. Despite taking those precautions, the mattress sleeps very hot. I wake up several times at night, and can only sleep with a sheet or it gets extremely uncomfortable. The support is adequate but that doesn't matter when you are overheating Also disappointing with the lack of customer service. I called customer service 2 times with very different but poor results Call 1- (Casper Customer Service) We will immediately get in touch with you and have product quality team get in touch with you. We are sending you a survey to fill out. (no survey or follow up happened) Call 2- (Casper Customer Service)We think this is not a product quality issue, so we are not going to reach out to that team on your behalf, sorry. Some customers are more sensitive to heat from foam mattresses. You can sell it on Craigslist but the warranty will not transfer. We will send you a survey (no survey was sent) How did this company supposedly become the leading mattress brand in the US? Buyer beware....this mattress gets hot and the customer support is poor UPDATE: After seeing this review on Amazon, Casper reached out via email. They still never sent any kind of survey or brought up my problems with excessive heat from the mattress to the product quality team. INSTEAD- they kept sending annoying emails, demanding links to the sheets I bought as well as the bed frame. They kept questioning my claims, insisting the problem must be with the bed frame, sheets etc. I had already told them several times that I followed the Casper manufacture directions with regards the sheets and bed frame - but its as if they didn't believe me and asked me to send links or photos of my sheets and bed frame! Unbelievable! Its like they told me I was lying Finally they told me spend another $100 dollars on some kind of wool topper for my mattress which might help with the heat problems BUYER BEWARE- IF YOU LIKE ME BOUGHT THE MATTRESS, AND HAVE PROBLEMS WITH QUALITY OR THE EXCESSIVE HEAT FROM THE MATTRESS- RETURN IT QUICKLY BEFORE THE 100 DAYS. KEEP THE BOX AND ALL THE PACKING MATERIAL. ITS NOT A GOOD PRODUCT I AM REACHING OUT TO CONSUMER REPORTS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE
