This will not chip branches as described at all. 1. Description fails to state that it will not continuous chip green branches. However, the manual states that IF you chip green wood, at minimum, you must also chip a dry branch at the end. Unless you save dry branches, forget this device. 2. No way that you can chip a branch that isn't perfectly straight. It will jam immediately. This means (also not in the description) that you have to cut the branches into little straight pieces for use. 3. It will not successfully feed due to a major design flaw. There are two approx. 2" holes on either side of the feeding chute, with a narrow slot between them. Inevitably if you feed a branch it will twist to one side and jam in the slot. It is possible that this device might be of some use if you are only feeding twigs to make mulch, and as mentioned, the manual recommends against chipping green wood, a significant disadvantage not disclosed in the description. A worthless device, in my opinion. Look elsewhere.
