Last only TWO months.... You are kidding me right Jawbone?!
Very disappointed in this item. I have raved about this band for weeks and encouraged others to buy one. I have tried the Up 24, original UP 2 (with the bad clasp), Fitbit Charge, Fitbit HR, Garmin Vivofit etc. I was in love with this product until today when the band broke. I am very gentle with my products including my Apple Watch with does not have a scratch. I take it off to charge it to only find the band broken (see pictures attached). I called Jawbone at 1-800-529-2663 and after becoming miserable with the first person I spoke with, I politely ended the call and spoke with Armando in the California office. He was helpful but communicating with him was a task. Nevertheless, he requested I send him pictures of the item ( I sent copy of receipt too which shows my purchase date of October 19th. I am still awaiting his response.... At this point after using a product after only 2+ months, I am not interested in a replacement band for fear of the next one breaking as well in a short period of time. I called Amazon to see what they could and the respectfully issued me a refund even though it was outside of their policy. I suppose since I order weekly and have been a prime member for 3+ years meant something to them.
This band was my life, and it really motivated me in way the Apple Watch could not. I enjoyed using the app and the recommendations they offered towards improving your health. As a school teacher, our company offers points which is redeemed through gift cards and an decreased premium towards our health insurance annually with a program called Humana Vitality. You received points based on how many hours of daily sleep and steps taken among other things. I'm happy to say, I have redeemed at least $200 in Amazon gift cards over the past year and half. It is really motivating and works with many fitness bands which I will miss now mine is broken. With regards the app, it was a battery hog on my iPhone 6s and continually updates does nothing to help it. See Apple Store reviews for more information. On another note my wife has a Fitbit HR with she LOVES. She had a problem with the workmanship of her band after about 6 months, we called the company and notified them of the problem and they immediately sent out a replacement, no pictures, no questions ask. That's a company that stands behind their product and the company I think I will turn back to while I continue my fitness improvements and needs. Hope this review helps someone. It is a great band but the battery life the apps sucks out of your phone and the quality of their product is not worth you time or hard earned money.
