I installed these on fence posts for our dark side yard. They give great light on low, enough to nicely illuminate that area, and so far the low setting has no problem lasting throughout the night. My issue is that 2 of the 4 had water get into them within the first month of use after nothing more than normal rain showers. They're completely corroded and water-logged, and both have died. The other 2 are still in perfect condition with no moisture in them at all. The photo shows one of the water-logged ones (on the left) compared to a good one (on the right). I bought a second set of 4 before the failures because I wanted to install a 5th light to completely light the side yard. So fortunately I've got extras to replace those 2 that died, but because of that initial 50% failure rate so far I only rated it 3 stars. We'll have to see how the new ones last. UPDATE: Of the second set that I had bought another 2 of 4 have now also failed due to water intrusion after only three weeks of use, so I reduced the rating down to 1 star. Can't recommend these at all since out of two different sets half of them failed due to getting water-logged. Also worth noting, the manufacturer offers a free solar sconce light if you leave them a 5-star review for this item so I'd take many of these high ratings with a grain of salt.
