★★☆☆☆
Contains lead and arsenic
I bought this product because I wanted an alternative to large magnesium pills. Magnesium is good for so many things and this brand was helping with falling/staying asleep as well as easing menstrual cramps. I didn't see the Prop 65 warning link until I went back to the product page when recommending the product to someone else. The details in Prop 65 link listed it contains dangerous levels of both arsenic and lead known to cause cancer. Other products contain arsenic like rice and wine but there are brands manufactured in different places that contain negligible amounts or none so I figured the same was true of this product, which is from China. I found a brand sourced from the U.S. and purchased it. I hope I didn't miss anything dangerous about this product. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BHF3GMK/ref=oh_aui_detail page_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The return window has passed on this brand so I threw it out. I checked other Bulk Supplements products and they also had the Prop 65 warnings. Interestingly enough, the Prop 65 link from this page has been "magically" removed. Lesson learned: do as much research as you can and check, then double check multiple sources.
