I purchased the Braun 790cc several years ago. I could not have been more satisfied. The shaving head lasted maybe 9 or 10 months before I had to replace it and I was actually ok with that. The replacement heads were between $35 and $45. Not an unreasonable cost but they now only last about 4 months. Now I can't even find the replacement head for less than $100 and am actually lucky to find one at all. Braun used to have a stellar reputation, especially their razors, but unfortunately is now suffering with quality and supply issues. I would not recommend Braun until these issues are addressed. A real shame I might add.
