Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I will start by saying I liked the product at first (would have given 5 stars) and I've used it for about 2-3 months or so before the tracking wheels began to peel and crack. At this point, the machine isn't really operable since it gets stuck with broken wheels. Upon reading other reviews, this seems to be the most common issue with the product -- low quality wheels. Well I read such reviews and thought "well if it happens to me, I'll just buy an extended warranty so that I'm covered"! Or so I thought! So now I contact Amazon customer support to receive coverage of my product. Since the product is still under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty, I was then instructed to contact the manufacturer directly (Maxiclimber) to obtain service. Now is when things go very very wrong, the Maxiclimber support staff inform me that since I purchased the product through Amazon, I need to request service through Amazon! I played 3 rounds of "Customer Service Nightmare Ping Pong" before I noticed that Amazon REMOVED the "chat or call" button from the product support page for this item! Instead it now provides a link to the Inovaus website (I think it's the parent company of Maxiclimber) with a fake email address (my contact requests bounced)! So that leads me to today, I'm basically stuck with a defective product after 3 months, Amazon stole my $21 for my extended warranty and refuses to honor it. Maxiclimber refuses to work with Amazon customers. I am considering filing a complaint in a small claims court. What's really funny is that I don't need a new product or a refund, I just want 6 replacement wheels (3 for each side) which are not hard to replace (maybe 10 minutes total if you have a ratchet wrench). But alas, my only discourse is to "hate" on a product I enjoyed solely because the manufacturer and Amazon are complicit in not honoring the warranty!
