For a product labeled "It's just xanthan gum, nothing else," complete with multiple exclamation points, I was certain that the product would be allergy-safe. After all, why go through the trouble of having such a lengthy name that specifically boasts, "Nothing else!" And there is no allergy warning in the customary location immediately below the ingredient list. So, unfortunately, I missed the allergy warning that is in minuscule typeset at the very bottom of the packet, and now I have a non-refundable item that I can't use. The allergy warning is for traces of peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, milk, and egg. Lesson learned - do not buy food items online if the ingredients matter to you.
