A 13.6 pound bag of 14% nitrogen covering an acre (43,560 square feet) gives only 1.904 pounds of nitrogen per acre, or .0437 pounds per 1000 square feet. That's ridiculously little. You'd have to apply it about 90 times per season to give the normally recommended 4 pounds of nitrogen per year for cool season turf. Do the math before you buy!!!! What's going on here? Sounds a little fishy, please explain.
