Works well to keep clothes on the hanger, but boy, is there a TON of shedding! I bought two boxes of these (100 pcs), and after hanging them in my closet, I was coughing and rubbing my eyes like crazy. I couldn't figure out why until I ran my fingers over a glass shelf in my closet and saw a thick layer of black fuzz on there. The hangers drop their velvety finish off on the clothes, and even if there's nothing hanging on them, they still drop a lot of lint. I ran an electric air filter purifier in my closet for three days before I could walk in there again. I still use a Swiffer on the floor twice a week, and there's always black lint everywhere...on floors, shelves, clothes. Everything I move a hanger, more shedding! Safe to say I will not be buying more, and will probably be swapping out for rubberized hangers in the near future.
