My husband really likes this stand for his guitars - it's fun to have them all side-by-side for display and easy access. The folding feature is great, too! The number of guitars you could fit on it depends entirely on the type of guitar and how close you want the guitars to be to each other. We use it for 5 right now, but it could easily hold 6 or 7 - 8 if you're feeling adventurous. :) Unfortunately, there's not a good way to place a Firebird or Flying V on this stand - they end up sitting on the floor. :( And, it's be really nice if the company would toss in a couple of extra spacers instead of charging quite a bit for more - it just seems kind of greedy. Still, great stand overall. UPDATE: Warning, this stand is not nitro-safe! My husband left our guitars on the stand for a couple months and the foam reacted with the lacquer leaving a permanent red mark on our antique-white Telecaster (pictured). We also have permanent pressure marks on our other guitars. Had to cover the bottom of the stand with fabric. We are very disappointed and frustrated.
