You guys, please, PLEASE READ THIS! I am 52 & until this product, considered myself BLESSED with healthy, beautiful, mermaid like hair that took me YEARS of trying to grow to finally obtain. It literally looked the BEST and was the LONGEST it had EVER been in my entire life. I bought this for the first time in July 2020, and since my dermatologist recommended only washing my hair every few weeks (which definitely contributed to its health & length) probably only used this a total of 6 times- and I LOVED IT- until the globs of hair started coming out in September 2020. And of course at first, since I AM so careful about what I put in my hair and body, I didn't realize what was causing this sudden, dramatic hair loss & I thought it had to be, idk, a thyroid problem? Anemia? I just couldn't figure it out and was driving first my Primary, & then my Dermatologist, CRAZY with my desperation to make it STOP and discover why it happened. I had very extensive lab work done multiple times, researched & purchased just about every hair supplement, oil & treatment you didn't even know existed & even started taking a well known prescription medication (that I'm pretty sure my doctor gave me just to make me shut the heck up!) and still, glob by glob, I continued to lose what's amounted to over a FOOT of hair! Then when I went to reorder this product, I noticed how the date of my first purchase of this coincided with exactly when I started seeing my hair everywhere except my head. Then I went back through my Amazon order history, waaayyy back, and there was nothing else in there for my hair that could have caused it- oh, and yeah, I KEPT USING THIS bc I was clueless until that moment. When I finally made the connection I read the reviews & was devastated (not to mention furious!) to realize that something I not only did this to myself, but after calling a company I had long trusted and inquiring about the safety- they said it contains no parabens, sulfates or anything "unsafe"- and had I simply not made that one little addition to my usual routine, I'd still have the crowning glory that I was so proud of and spent SO long acquiring. Now I can only hope and pray that eventually it will return to its previous state, and that the rest of you being duped by the glowing reviews will stop using this toxic GARBAGE before its too late. I can't tell you how soul crushing it is to look in the mirror- and in my shower, brush, and pretty much every dark surface- and see my hair in the state that its in. I really hope this helps someone else and that this nightmare in a bottle stops being sold ASAP. 💔💔💔
