What a disappointment. It looked ok for a FAOTD from the AppStore, so I decided to go for the usual install and try out. But the permissions are idiotic. They remind me of the virus-like apps in Google's play store and I was kind of hoping not to find them here on Amazon. Especially not as FAOTD. Reading and writing bookmarks is common for this spyware spam apps. Starting this app on boot also. After installation you probably get spammed with ads in bookmarks, notifications and home screen. But the worst is, this is usually a paid app. Totally unacceptable. Vote with your wallet. Don't support this unless the permissions are removed. Update: Today I saw that some of the permissions were removed. So I decided to still try the game out and go for a fair review. After the installation I set privacy mode in privacy guard (cyanogenmod 10.1.1) and greenified the app. Then I started it. Immediately I noticed the advertisement when starting the app. This would be ok for a free version. Not a paid version. The game itself is boring and uninspiring. The music is repititive and the sound effects are really irritating. Don't let your children play this. The yeah-sound (or whatever it is) from the skater is wicked annoying. After closing the app you immediately go to a random amazon store page of a developers app. Again, this would be ok for a free version. Not a paid version. You will also recieve notifications for other apps. You can disable this with cyanogenmod or when greenifying the app (root needed of course), but actually it's quite rude as a developer to apply such obtruse advertisive ways on a product, especially a paid product. So my conclusion remains, even with the most worrisome permissions removed, one star (actually it would have been zero stars before, now just one). And I don't think I would trust this developer.
