Listen brothers and sisters ... this filter makes the water taste great, but there is zero reduction in fluoride. And that is the reason I bought it. I've spent little time leaving reviews about products in the past (positive or negative) but this is a fraud and it is a health fraud so I'm taking the time to post this. I became skeptical of the fluoride reduction claims based on other Amazon reviews and my research on the many year old water test results posted, so I spent $200 on a ExStik® FL700 Fluoride Meter to test this filter and my various house shower filters and other bottled water I drink. The results are very depressing! This filter does NOTHING to reduce fluoride. I also found my shower filters do NOTHING (well maybe a 0.02 reduction) but that isn't much for how much they cost. I then tested TraderJoes Water and got a low reading (0.3ppm) but still too high for my kids consumption in my opinion. I did ArrowHead and got a higher fluoride reading than my tap water. And I'm NOT talking about the ArrowHead with fluoride added which is criminal in of itself. I am happy to report (and shocked) that my SmartWater tests showed a zero reading and I tested it multiple times and went back and forth between it and other water sources ... And consistently got a zero reading on SmartWater so I guess the distillation process works even though I heard it isn't guaranteed to help with fluoride. Boy it's going to be expensive to provide all my children water in SmartWater bottle form! Although I like the taste from this filter, don't delude yourself into thinking it reduces fluoride.
