I bought this for my autistic grandson in July 2010 and realize it's been a while. 3 of the metal springs have snapped completely in half. Thankfully my grandson was not hurt. Autistic children sometimes have repetitive behaviors so yes he jumped on it a LOT. But I don't think the springs should be snapping in half. He weighs 50 pounds by the way. I wrote the company to inform them, not to get my money back but just to let them know I felt it was a danger to children and they wrote back to tell me they wouldn't refund my money. I NEVER asked them to. There was no concern for the safety of my grandchild or any offer to even replace the springs which I didn't think of until after I sent the first e-mail. I'm sure the same thing would eventually happen anyway. I will be complaining to Amazon as well as speaking to a customer service supervisor tomorrow. Please don't let your child get hurt using this.
